ABOUT

I’ve volunteered for the Friends of the Royal Marsden Hospital, Chelsea for many years, finally becoming President of the Friends . I am also a founder member of the Arts Forum at the hospital.
I’m not a professional photographer, always had a great respect for photography . A colleague looking at pictures on my iPhone suggested, perhaps, they would be suitable for public areas and some consulting rooms in the hospital, so that’s exactly what happened .
When stepping down as President of the Friends I was given the title Resident Photographer at the Royal Marsden Hospital , Chelsea which is an honour and a privilege . Its extremely rewarding to hear a comment on how uplifting it is to see something beautiful on a wall, and know that the image may help remove the anxiety of the treatment that is very probably coming next.
I am a Londoner 100%, so most of my photographs are of iconic London, buildings, parks and gardens. During the pandemic, lockdown gave me a great opportunity to see beautiful London spaces from a totally different aspect, without people, without traffic.

Am now in early 80's and fully believe in “Attitude not Age “ I still use iPhone 11. And encourage everyone to look up , down, and around , you’ll be astonished at what you see .
